New data compiled by the realty website Movoto.com finds that Seattle is the hardest-working American city.

To find this, researchers say they used numerous different statistics, but the top source of data was the Bureau of Labor Statistics' tally of average hours worked per resident. The research found the top 5 to be:

  1. Seattle, WA
  2. Arlington, TX
  3. Fort Worth, TX
  4. Austin, TX
  5. San Jose, CA

At the bottom of the list: Memphis, TN, Fresno, CA, Cleveland, OH, Milwaukee, WI and El Paso, TX.

Researchers say they also factored in the unemployement rate.
