What Was Your First Concert? Neal White Remembers Cheap Trick Experience

Someone asked me that question today and it didn't take me long to remember the show.  I went to see Cheap Trick in Providence, when it was called Providence Civic Center.  Cheap Trick was huge at the time the 'Live at Budokan' album was out with the song 'I Want You to Want Me' was at the top of the charts.

I remember getting dressed up to go to the show and feeling awkward being their dressed up and everyone else wearing jeans and tee shirts. The concert was a blast, it was an experience I will never forget. I also learned that there is no need to dress up to go to a concert unless its the symphony!
