Sun of a Beach is just around the corner and with tons of tickets already sold,  we're sure a lot of you have questions about what to bring with you and what to leave home.  Here's our list of things you need to know before you go.

1. Bring Long Sleeves
It can be a little breezy on the water.  Bring a light jacket if you’re prone to getting a little chilly. Also, when the sun starts to set after a hot day, you'll find yourself getting chilly quickly so come prepared.

2. Bring Sun Protection
There is sunshine everywhere. There is very little shade is this big open space so come prepared. Hats, sunscreen and/or sunglasses are suggested to keep all or your parts safe. It may not feel hot with breeze off of the ocean but that's when sunburn strikes!

3. Bring Money
Bring your clams/sand dollars/cashola or whatever you want to call it.  Some of our event vendors may be equipped to take your credit cards but our front gate and beer garden are not- they are CASH ONLY operations. Come prepared if you plan on staying a while because the nearest ATM is a few miles away.

4. Bring Seating
Bring your beach blankets and chairs.  There’s a lot of grassy real estate that is begging for you to relax. But please keep any large umbrellas or canopies home- its really easy for them to blow away and accidentally hurt someone. If you need to bring these items on the shuttle, please make sure to offer others a seat if they need it and put your things on the floor.

5. Bring IDs
Be sure to bring a valid, government issued ID with you to this event if you are 21+ and intend on having a drink with us.  Anyone under the age of 30 will be ID checked by event police prior to being given a bracelet. If your "government issued" ID says your name is McLovin', you'd better believe your not drinking at our party.

6. Do NOT Bring Alcohol
If you plan on bringing your own cooler, please know that they (and bags) will be searched thoroughly at the gate. All alcohol being brought onto the property will be confiscated by the NBPD. NO EXCEPTIONS.  We will have food trucks on site if you want to eat some good ol' fashion festival food.

7. Bring Your Friends/Family
Whether you're all meeting up at one person's house and walking over, carpooling or making a plan to meet at the event, having friends and family makes it extra fun!  Challenge your dad to a game of washer toss or take on your brother and his friend in a fierce game of corn hole.  Whatever you do, make enough memories to get you through the winter. If its anything like 2015, you're gonna need all the sunshiny help you can get.

 8. Bring Your Tickets!
This seems silly to have to mention but people forget stuff, we get it. If you have your tickets printed out, make sure to have them with you. If you have a two person pass, be sure your other person is with you.  If your tickets are on your phone, have them ready for us to scan (remember to download them before you get there.)  Plus, we have a few reserved parking lots that are free of charge for event goers so have them handy!
