The pit bull pip who was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in Westport last week has a dozen people inquiring about adopting him.

However with his leg injury it could be some time before he can be put up for adoption,. He is currently being cared for at "Handsome Dan's Rescue for Pit Bulls" and his treatment could run into thousands of dollars.

Westport Animal Control Officer Donna Lambert says they currently have no suspects in the case but a reward is being offered to anyone with information on who shot the dog .
