Westport Man Found Guilty Of Child Rape

A Fall Fiver Superior Court jury has found a Westport man guilty of raping a six year old girl.

The District Attorney's office says 37 year old Joshua Miguel was sentenced on Tuesday to 10-to-12 years in state prison.

Police say the abuse happened between January, 2010 and September, 2011 when the victim was between the ages of four and six.

Miguel was found guilty of two counts of statutory rape of a child, one count of rape of a child with force, and two counts of dissemination of material harmful to a minor.
