Weekend Earthquake Recorded in Fairhaven

FAIRHAVEN - A small earthquake was felt on the Southcoast over the weekend.

The United States Geological Survey says the epicenter of the 1.6 magnitude earthquake was based near Green Street in Fairhaven at 11:09 p.m. Saturday night.

No damage was reported.

Local residents took to social media Saturday night to report feeling a bit of a rumble.
