WBSM TV: Raising the Minimum Wage in Massachusetts

Anabel Santiago, regional coordinator for Raise Up Massachusetts, joins Brian Thomas to talk about increasing the minimum wage in Massachusetts, and providing improved benefits for workers in the Commonwealth.

Raise Up Massachusetts is pushing initiatives for a $15 an hour minimum wage in the state, as well as employer-paid family and medical leave.

Santiago's appearance was just hours before Raise Up Massachusetts kicked off a lobbying tour at Carney Academy in New Bedford. Seven other stops are planned on the tour throughout Massachusetts in the coming weeks.
