America has spoken. The Republican Party, in the midst of a gunfight in a rowboat, still maintains majority powers in both houses of Congress and yes, has re-claimed the White House with the victory of Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton yesterday. While Secretary Clinton squeaked out a slightly higher popular vote (47.66% to 47.57), she was demolished in the Electoral College 306 to 232.

America chose the blunt force, ugly truth by an animated, arrogant rich old white man over the polite, eloquent lies coming from a polished politician with a checkered record of four decades and who also has flawed personality traits.

Trumps victory though, was really about the American people showing Washington where the line in the sand is for giving away too many advantages to everyone in the world but them.

The current regime at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, sounds more like a 1980 Soviet propaganda pamphlet, blaming America for virtually every world problem. Apologizing tours, condescending lecturing of the populace through the cooperative media here too. Also, striking the nerve is the unfair trade deals that existed before Obama's administration that were kept in place despite the dishonesty of our partners making the unchallenged infractions a one sided victory for them. Trump's supporters observed keenly and saw no one sticking up for them.

The Clinton, Bush and Obama administrations were all reluctant at best to do anything real about illegal immigration, even encouraging the flow to increase the shocked disbelief of the nation.

Yeah the majority of states are red today. Red with anger at the government who politely lies to them and so, Trump, the symptom, not the cause, is being sent to Washington both as punishment and as a solution.

The Democrats, confident in their ways are now on the outside of all powers in the Federal Government, Executive, Legislative and very likely will not be able to stop the next two Supreme Court appointees of President Trump.

Massachusetts batting 1.000 in the wrong direction, has now no in-roads, no connections to the White House. No Republican congressional member and a Republican governor, Charlie Baker, who went out of his way to make it known he is hostile to the president-elect and has made it clear that he has no use for Donald Trump. Ever hear of hedging your bets Governor Baker?

We're wicked sm'aht'.
