Warwick Wrestling Coach We Fell Into Mysterious Coma, Dies

Tragic news from Warwick, Rhode Island. Wrestling coach George Schmeider has passed after, after falling ill in February.

In August, Warwick, RI wrestling coach George Schmeider fell mysteriously ill after returning from a tournament. After he fell ill, he went into a coma. They still aren't sure what caused it, but Schmeider has succumbed to the sickness.

Schmeider wasn't just a coach, he was also a proud father, loving husband, and a local volunteer.
