Warren To Make Southcoast Swing On Friday

Mass. Senator Elizabeth Warren is visiting the Southcoast on Friday.

Her first stop is in Fall River for a meeting with Mayor Sam Sutter and other officials.

Then its on to UMass Dartmouth, where at noon the Senator will tour the university's new Bioengineering Lab. At 12:30 she'll be taking part in a round-table discussion with students regarding college affordability.

The visit will wrap up Friday afternoon with a session in New Bedford with the Buzzards Bay Coalition, and a closed-door meeting at City Hall with Mayor Jon Mitchell.

Some Democrats have been pushing Warren to run for President, but she has repeatedly said she is not a candidate in 2016.
