Wareham Residents Face Drug Charges
Two Wareham residents are facing charges after police executed a search warrant at their apartment Tuesday morning.
Chief Kevin Walsh says detectives executed a search warrant at apartment 75 in the Woods of Wareham complex.
Arrest warrants had also been issued for the residents of the apartment identified as 29-year-old Sara Savoie and 29-year-old Michael Navarro.
Detectives encountered Navarro near Wareham Plaza on Marion Rd. and found him with a plastic bag containing marijuana, $430.00 in cash, and 4 grams of heroin.
Upon entry into the apartment police encountered Savoie in possession of Suboxone pills.
A further search of the apartment uncovered a plastic bag marked "LSD" which contained several LSD paper tabs, an ounce of marijuana, and a digital scale.
Navarro and Savoie were arrested and transported to Wareham District Court for arraignment.
Navarro is being charged with Possession of a Class A Substance With Intent to Distribute (Heroin), Possession of a Class B Substance With Intent to Distribute (LSD), and Possession of a Class D Substance With Intent to Distribute (Marijuana).
Savoie is being charged with Possession of a Class B Substance (Suboxone).
