Wareham Police Identify Suspect In Weekend Stabbing

Wareham Police say they're looking for a 28 year old Marion man in connection with stabbing Sunday in the Onset Center area-of-town.

Police Chief Kevin Walsh says investigators have obtained an arrest warrant for Peter Rezendes of Marion, on a charge of assault with intent to murder while armed.

The 39 year old victim is now expected to make a full recovery. He was transported by friends to Tobey Hospital on Sunday, and then taken by Med-Flight to a Boston hospital.
