WAREHAM — On Wednesday, December 13th at approximately 11:00 a.m., Wareham Police detectives executed a search warrant 3 Dowd Avenue, as the result of an investigation regarding the possession and sale of illegal narcotics, namely heroin, from the residence.

After receiving no answer at the door, detectives and assisting patrol officers forced entry into the home. Once inside the home, detectives encountered five people in various areas of the residence.

During a search of the residence, detectives discovered a 14 individually knotted plastic bags containing suspected heroin, and another plastic bag containing nine individually knotted bags that contained suspected cocaine. Four digital scales and empty “corner cut” plastic baggies were also found in various areas of the residence.

Arrested at the scene were 32-year-old Joseph Lemay, 24-year-old Jenna Pires, and 21-year-old David Hill, all of whom are residents of that address. Lemay and Pires were charged with possession of a Class A substance with intent to distribute (heroin), while Hill was charged with possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute.

The three arrested individuals are scheduled for arraignment on the criminal charges Thursday in Wareham Fourth District Court.
