A man was arrested on robbery charges after robbing a bank in Wareham Friday afternoon.

According to WCVB 5, 35 year-old Kenneth Gillpatrick, a resident of Wareham, passed a note to the teller at Santander Bank on Main Street demanding money at 5pm.

After receiving an undetermined amount of cash, Gillpatrick fled the scene. He did not show any weapons and no one was injured during the incident.

Wareham Police tracked Gillpatrick to an apartment at 436 Main Street where he was placed under arrest without incident and transported to the Wareham Police Department.

His bail was set at $5,000 and is scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
