Wareham Man Dies In Early Morning Crash

One man is dead following a one-car crash early Saturday in Wareham.  Wareham Police, Fire and an EMS Unit responded to the area of 102 Charge Pond Road Around 3am Saturday, and found a vehicle on its side in a wooded area.  According to Lt. Kevin Walsh, a passenger in the car, 20 year old Jordan Lopes of Wareham was pronounced dead at the scene.  The operator, 20 year old Jonathan Lydon of Wareham was transported to Tobey Hospital  for treatment of what Police say were non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by Wareham and State Police.
