Wareham Man Arrested on Drug Charge

A Wareham man is out on bail after being arrested on a drug charge.

24-year-old Keith Murdock was arrested after Wareham Police executed a search warrant at Murdock's Old Onset Road home Wednesday afternoon, regarding the sale and possession of illegal drugs.

When police entered the home, Murdock made an attempt to flee, but was soon apprehended.

Police searched Murdock and his property, turning up 21 oxycodone/hydrochloride percocet pills, and $8,200 in cash, stashed in clothing in his apartment.

Murdock was arraigned Thursday on a charge of possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute, and later posted bail.
