WAREHAM — A 63-year-old Wareham man was arrested Tuesday after a police officer spotted him driving erratically.

Wareham Police stopped Michael Levett after witnessing him driving erratically on Main Street and straddling the center line on Chapel Street around 2:25 p.m.

Following an investigation, Levett was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

He was transported to Wareham Police headquarters where he was booked pending an arraignment in Wareham District Court on Wednesday.
