Wareham Police have made an arrest in a robbery that happened 12 days ago.

Police were called to the Walmart in Cranberry Plaza on Sunday, Oct. 12, after the store reported a man had reached into a register and grabbed an undetermined amount of cash, and fled the area on foot.  Police searched the Plaza but found no trace of the robber.

Wareham Police then went to work with the Walmart Loss Prevention team, and this week identified a suspect.

Interim Police Chief Kevin Walsh says officers obtained an arrest warrant and picked up 32-year-old Nathan Hufnagle of Onset at his place of employment in Duxbury.

Hufnagle was held at Wareham Police Headquarters overnight, and will be arraigned Friday morning in Wareham District Court.
