Wareham Gearing Up For 275th Anniversary

The town of Wareham is already looking forward to the summer of 2014, that is when the town turns 275.  The planning has been in progress for almost a year now and the events that are planned are going to spectacular!  The committee is planning re-enactments of the Attack of HMS Nimrod to a huge Birthday Party!  The festivities of next year also coincides with the Cape Cod Canal celebrating its 100th anniversary.

There have been and will be fundraisers through out the next year leading up to the events.  Recently there was a fundraiser held at Wareham Crossing with the band the Corvairs performing and free food provided by the Texas Road House, Cosi' and free ice cream too!  The event was lots of fun, there were even classic Corvair cars there too.
