Wareham Convenience Store Robbery

Wareham Police are investigating a reported armed robbery Monday evening around 9 pm at The Speedy Mart on Rt. 28 in West Wareham.

Lt. Kevin Walsh says that a white male entered the store and demanded cash from the register while holding what appeared to be a handgun. He then fled with an undetermined amount of money.

The clerk was unharmed and the suspect is described as a thin white male, about 5 foot 11, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and jeans. His face was covered during the robbery.
