Volunteers Wanted For Ward Three Clean Sweep

New Bedford's Ward Three is set to undergo a deep clean as volunteers begin to pick up trash this weekend. Operation Clean Sweep is conducting it's second to last sweep of the season in Ward Three on Saturday morning.

Organizer Lynn Coish says the litter pick-up is a habit changer for the public and volunteers as well.

Breakfast will be provided at the Veterans Transition House on Willis and Purchase Streets beginning at 8:30am. Volunteers should dress appropriately with closed-toe shoes. Lunch will be provided by Domino's Pizza after the clean-up.
