Students from Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School have been hard at work over the past couple of weeks, repairing displays, hanging lights and putting together all of the decorations at Clasky Common Park.

The students, along with employees from the City of New Bedford work on the annual Christmas display every year.

Carpentry student Corey Ferreira was checking out the work this week.

Corey will be there on Sunday, joined by hundreds of others.

Mayor Jon Mitchell, the Parker School chorus and Santa Claus will take part in the annual Festival of Lights celebration at Clasky Common Park beginning at 5pm.  .
