Did you ever think vinyl records would make a comeback? If you're part of the generation who grew up on records, you probably had serious doubts. After all, you've seen 8-track tapes replaced by cassettes replaced with CDs that took a backseat to MP3 players and iPods, all in the name of better sound through technology. So why then are vinyl records showing up everywhere from college dorms to your entertainment center at home?

Experts say the answer has a lot do with the sound vinyl produces. It's warmer than digitally produced music. The album covers is an added bonus, too. Many younger people are returning to playing vinyl on turn tables and record players. Record stores have seen an upswing in vinyl from younger listeners who want something more than just downloading a tune.

In 2010, over 2.8 million vinyl records were sold, making it the fastest growing music format! So with the interest in vinyl records and turn tables, I wonder if fountain pens are next?
