Victim Struck By Vehicle In Wareham Dead

The victim struck by a vehicle in Wareham last month passed away Tuesday night.

Arthur Myatt of Plymouth passed away at Rhode Island Hospital as a result to the injuries he sustained on July 28th. Myatt was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Cranberry Highway.

Prior to the incident, police received a complaint about the victim causing an intoxicated disturbance outside the Buttermilk Bay Inn.

Police say the driver of the vehicle is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
