The 18-year-old victim in a Sunday morning stabbing at UMass Dartmouth has been treated and released from Rhode Island Hospital.

University spokesman John Hoey tells WBSM News the unidentified male returned to campus Monday morning. Campus police say the man was stabbed around 3:30 Sunday morning outside the Cedar Dell South apartments.

The victim described his attacker to police as a tall, light-skinned Hispanic or black man with a bushy ponytail. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt at the time.
