Victim Identified in Fatal Taunton Shooting

The victim in Thursday morning's deadly shooting in Taunton has been identified.

The Bristol County District Attorney's Office says 23-year-old Gordon Weeks of Somerville was shot around 9:30am Thursday morning in front of 9 5th Avenue in Taunton. Weeks was taken to nearby Morton Hospital by a friend, but died at the hospital at 10:06am.

The investigation is active and ongoing. There have been no reports of any arrests at this time.
