Vehicle Crashes Through Front of Store in Assonet

ASSONET — A vehicle has driven through the front of a convenience store in Assonet.

At about 12:18 p.m. Wednesday, scanner reports came through of a vehicle through the front of the Circle K, located at 68 South Main Street in Assonet.

No injuries were reported.

No customers are allowed inside the building due to structural damage; however, the gas pumps and Dunkin' Donuts drive-thru are still open.

Freetown Police say the crash remains under investigation, and are releasing no further information at this time.
