A valet manager at a Boston hotel has testified at Aaron Hernandez's murder trial that he saw what he believed to be a gun tucked in the former NFL player's waistband two nights before the killing of Odin Lloyd.

Samson Michael testified Tuesday that he saw Hernandez outside the "W" Hotel at around 1:30 am on June 15th, 2013.......

During cross examination, Michael admitted the area where the car was parked was dark, and that he only saw the object for about three seconds.  He also testified he reported what he saw to the hotel security chief, but he said nothing was done.

Also on Tuesday, prosecutors have shown jurors a text message he sent his fiancee directing her to a box in their basement as he sat at a police station for questioning.

Prosecutors displayed a text message Hernandez sent to Jenkins shortly after midnight June 18.

He said the box is behind the screen in their movie room and their infant daughter likes to play with it. Prosecutors have said it was code and Jenkins disposed of the box.

A co-defendant told police Hernandez put guns in a box in his basement. The murder weapon hasn't been found.
