The September job rate in the United States fell below 8% for the first time in almost four years.The AP reports that employers added near 114,000 jobs in September. There was also a reported increase in wages, and more people began to seek out work.

The August unemployment rate was at 8.1%, and the increase in jobs is huge for the economy. Earlier in the year, employers had only added a total of 67,000 jobs, and from July to September they added 146,000, including the huge September gain.
