U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren is planning a swing through the western part of the state with stops in Pittsfield, North Adams and Dalton.

Warren's first stop is Sunday afternoon where she's scheduled to attend an ice cream social and meet with constituents in North Adams.

Warren continues her swing through the region on Monday with a morning tour of the General Dynamics site in Pittsfield.

Warren is also scheduled to participate in a public hearing on arts and tourism held by the Massachusetts Legislature's Committee on Tourism, Arts, and Cultural Development at the Berkshire Museum.

After the hearing, Warren plans to visit Crane & Co. in Dalton to tour the company, which has supplied the United States Treasury with its currency paper since 1879.

Warren is in her first year as senator.
