UMass Student Receives $2,500 Reward For His Testimony
A UMass Dartmouth senior is $2,500 richer after being presented with a reward for assisting authorities in the arrest and conviction of a suspect in an arson case two years ago.

The money comes from the state’s Arson Reward Program, and was presented Monday to Devin Kauljac at the Dartmouth State Police Barracks. Authorities say Kauljac witnessesed a fire being set in a bathroom at UMass in November, 2010. He shared information with police and also testified against the suspect. Kualjac tells WBSM News, he handled the peer-pressure pretty well.
