The Boston Globe praised Kate Dullea and Mathew Melo for their creative senior thesis project for their Digital Media course at the school’s College of Visual and Performing Arts. They recreated the opening sequence of “Games of Thrones” using the layout of UMass Dartmouth's campus to replace the mountains and castles featured in Westeros and the Seven Kingdoms.

“We just needed to come up with a project that showcased all the knowledge that we have learned about [in] our major in the last four years,” “It’s probably safe to say we are obsessed with [the show],” Melo said. This labor-of-love took about four months to complete.

Well, they get an A+ in my book!
