Reading Southcoasttoday.com this morning, I stumbled across an article that posted every UMASS Dartmouth employee's projected salary, from the Chancellor's to part-timers. It reveals what the employees earn, from a quarter of a million dollars, down to the $250 plus dollars that a shuttle bus driver earns.

I understand the concept of justifying tax payer dollars and tuition costs, but then I thought, would I want people to know what I make? Is it part of the job?

Do tax payers have a right to know?
