UMass Dartmouth Opens New Dining Area
UMass Dartmouth students and administrators kicked off the 2012-2013 school year with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday officially opening the new Campus Center dining room.

The new dining area will offer students and faculty more food choices, and new furniture. Students can also enjoy a new Wendy’s that is also located in the Campus Center. The university’s Director of Campus Services, Jeff Augustine is excited about the $2 million renovation. He remembers the old cafeteria as a student in 1988.

The room was formerly known as the comuter cafeteria, but UMass-Dartmouth officials say that name has been retired, and a contest will be held to rename the dining area.
