Under grey skies, some 13-hundred students received undergraduate degrees during commencement ceremonies Sunday at UMass Dartmouth.

Throughout the ceremony, the thoughts of many were on the victims of the recent Boston Marathon bombings. The school has been in the spotlight when it was determined that one of it's students, Joh-Har Tsarnaev, along with his older brother, committed the attacks. Chancellor Dr. Divina Grossman said the University is stronger now than before the incident.

576 graduate degrees were awarded during ceremonies on Saturday.
