The UMass Dartmouth campus may be a little crowded this week as the school is celebrating the official inauguration of the new chancellor.

Divina Grossman was chosen to succeed Dr. Jean MacCormack as chancellor last year, and will be officially installed as the leader of UMass Dartmouth in a Thursday afternoon ceremony in the school's main auditorium.

A number of events including former Congressman Barney Frank, and past presidents and chancellors of the university are scheduled around the inauguration.

The newly renovated Claire T. Carney library is being showcased today with tours of the updated facility.

The celebration continues through Saturday, with a number of sporting events, and the painting of a mural at Dartmouth High School.
