The U.S. military is reportedly delivering aid to Iraqis trapped by ISIS militants.

CNN reports a military source as saying a humanitarian air drop mission is underway.

Thousands of Iraqis are running out of food, water and time as they're surrounded by ISIS militants in northern Iraq.

The "New York Times" reports that U.S. forces have bombed ISIS targets in the area, but the Pentagon is denying those reports.
