It's a story developing underneath the pomp of presidential candidate allegations of scandals. President Obama gives the go ahead for one of our navy ships to fire tomahawk missiles and knock out three radar batteries inside Yemen.

Turns out our attack is retaliation for Iran-back rebel forces in Yemen firing missiles at our warships in the Red Sea.

Why did these rebels decide to fire? According to their side, retaliation for Saudi Arabian coalition forces bombing a funeral hall, Saturday, where at least 140 people are reported dead. Yes, the United States is part of said coalition. According to Human Rights Watch, that bomb was made in the USA. Human Rights Watch is calling that bombing a war crime and is belching that the U.S. and other countries to stop selling weapons to Saudi Arabia.

I have no problems with the business of weapons sales. The United States has been creating wealth and putting folks to work from these sales for decades. It's huge business. However, if we're into selling arms then the U.S. should truly be open for business. I mean let's not sell to one side and not the other.

The United States should sell to all viable parties instead of choosing sides. By choosing sides, the other side, in this case Iran back Yemen, gets hit by a bomb made in the USA. The other side knows it and tries to retaliate against the so-called "Great Satan." The more we work to prop up governments, the more we seem to lose friends and allies.

I'd believe radical Islamists hated the western style of life if they also attacked countries like Switzerland and Canada. They do not. This makes me firmly believe the radicals that are willing to strap a bomb to themselves to wipe out a few United States-people must have something against us, and not the entire western civilization.

Presidential candidate Gary Johnson is correct. The United States needs to stop intervening in other country's affairs and take care of things at home. [My interpretation of his speeches].
