People living in the typhoon-ravaged city of Tacloban in the Philippines are being told to flee to other cities.

The mayor of Tacloban says local authorities are finding it difficult to providce enough food and water while maintaining law and order.

His comments come as the first attempt to conduct a mass burial failed when trucks carrying more than 200 corpses turned back after hearing gunfire just outside the city limits.
