Two Suspects Arrested In Roosevelt St. Drug Raid
More than 80 grams of heroin was seized during a Tuesday afternoon drug raid in New Bedford's South End.
Detective Captain Steven Vicente says officers executed a search warrant on the third floor of 49 Roosevelt street following an investigation into a drug delivery service. The two suspects were arrested after they were spotted leaving the residence in a car.
Detectives searched the apartment and found 80 grams of heroin, 160 oxycodone tablets, 500 methadone tablets and more than $4,000 in cash. Vicente says the drugs have a street value of $20,000.
Thirty-year old Patrick Parent and 27 year old Ashley Rezendes, both of Roosevelt Street face five drug related charges in New Bedford District Court.
