Two off duty Certified Nursing Assistants jump into action after a car accident on Ashley Boulevard near the intersection with Coffin Avenue Monday afternoon.

Ashley Baker told the Fun 107 Morning Show she and her co-worker Kerry Lynn, from New Bedford Health Center, were on her front porch when they saw the accident occur.

Baker says they got the man out of the car and Kerry Lynn gave him chest compressions until EMS arrived and administered a Narcan shot.

New Bedford EMS says an individual was transported to the hospital but they haven't released the person's name or medical condition.
