Two New Bedford Men Arrested With Heroin, Cocaine

Two men were arrested Thursday and a small amount of heroin and cocaine were seized after an investigation into cocaine distribution out of 247 Ashley Blvd., Apt. 3 in New Bedford.

A search of the residence and a vehicle resulted in the discovery of a small amount of heroin and cocaine, 49 tablets of Lorezepam and $289.

Justin G. Jardin, 23, of 247 Ashley Blvd. Apt. 3, New Bedford, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of Lorezepam, possession of heroin and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Jeffrey Hoskyns, 29, of 979 Glen St. Apt. 2, New Bedford, was charged with possession of cocaine, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, possession of heroin, conspiracy to violate drug laws and on a warrant arrest out of Florida.

The arrests were made at about 6 p.m.
