Two Locals Arrested In Celebration

Two area men were arrested in the post Red Sox win celebration in Boston. According to published reports, 22 year old Robert Fields of Marion faced a charge of assault and battery on a public employee and 22 year old Nathan O'Keefe, a U Mass Dartmouth student from Taunton, was charged with disordlerly conduct. Fields case was dismissed on the condition that he perform up to 40 hours of some form of community service to be determined by the trial court while charges againt O'Keefe were dismissed after he spent the night in jail.
