State and federal authorities say they have arrested the co-owners of two Boston-area massage parlors as part of an investigation into human trafficking and prostitution.  The massage parlors are the Sun Spa, also known as the Spa Studio, in Wellesley, and Bodywork in Revere. Those arrested were 37-year-old Zhen Lai of Quincy and 55-year-old Joseph Girouard.

They are to be arraigned Friday on charges of sex trafficking and keeping a house of prostitution. It's not immediately known who is representing them.   The state attorney general's office said the massage parlors allegedly offered sex in exchange for cash disguised as tips, and advertised on websites known to advertise prostitution.

Investigators had said earlier Thursday they were executing warrants in a sex trafficking investigation in Malden, Quincy, Kingston, Revere, Wellesley, and Manchester, N.H. (Associated Press)
