NEW BEDFORD — The New Bedford Police narcotics unit arrested two people Tuesday in connection with an investigation into a cocaine delivery service being operated out of 11 Merrill Street, Apartment 2.

Police executed a search warrant of the property, and found about 10 grams of cocaine, 32 rounds of .40 caliber ammunition and nearly $6,000 in cash.

Police arrested 20-year-old Mykayla Quinones and 23-year-old Daniel B. Baez, both of that address, on charges of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate drug laws and unlawful possession of ammunition. Baez resides in the apartment that was searched; Quinones resides in Apartment 1 of the same address.

The arrests were made at about 2:20 p.m.
