Wareham Police have arrested two people in connection with a robbery Monday.

Police say the robbery occurred in the area of Tobey Hospital, while a woman was giving a man a ride in her car. The woman told police the man pulled a knife on her and took her money before exiting the vehicle.

While the woman was reporting the incident to police, the suspect called the woman back, told her the robbery was a misunderstanding, and made arrangements to have the money returned to the victim by a female friend.

Police were able to identify the suspect as 41-year-old David Johnson of Wareham, and also arrested 29-year-old Nichole Card.

Johnson is charged with armed robbery, while Card faces charges of being an accessory after the fact and receiving stolen property. Both have been arraigned in Wareham District Court.
