Two people have been arrested in Dartmouth after a reported break-in.

On Tuesday, Dartmouth Police were called to a Hixville Road home for a break-in. While en route to the scene, Patrolman Jeremy Smith located the suspect vehicle that was spotted leaving the residence.

Upon positively identifying the suspects and recovering stolen property, police arrested 35-year-old William Furey, III of New Bedford, and 31-year-old Dawn Barnett of Seekonk.

Both have been charged with breaking and entering, destruction of property, and larceny over $250.
