Children who watch a lot of TV are likely eating more junk food.

A survey by Project Healthy Schools in southeast Michigan shows kids who have unhealthy eating habits also spent the most time in front of a TV or computer screen. These kids snacked more often, and opted for foods that were high in fat or salt.

Researchers say commercials marketing junk food heavily influenced the choices of children who watched them.
