U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Massachusetts), the most divisive elected official since Ex-Congressman Barney Frank (D-Massachusetts) claimed to represent us is spewing more hatred on social media.  This time Warren's target is presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Warren this week unleashed an unprovoked  vile and vicious Twitter rampage against Trump, tweeting that Trump's campaign is a "toxic stew of hatred and insecurity,"  asserting that Trump's campaign was built on "racism, sexism and xenophobia."  She even suggests that Trump has more support "among the leaders of the KKK than leaders of the party he now controls." According to The Boston Herald Warren concluded her nine tweet diatribe by suggesting what happens next is "a character test for all of us - Republican, Democrat and Independent." What makes all of this so outrageous is that Warren, who refused to put her own skin in the game has not even endorsed a candidate in her own party.

Warren, whose reputation is that of a cheap shot artist rose to prominence by taking on the banks and the wealthy while making millions through the liberal bastion of academia. In other words she is part of the so-called "one percent" that she rails against and is a big part of why your kids have staggering student loans.

Local officials will tell you that Warren is condescending and never around to help when needed.  A do nothing. When was the last time you saw her in New Bedford?  What has she actually done for the folks here at home to make life more bearable? Name something. I dare you.

The Commonwealth would be better off if Senator Warren stayed away from Twitter and the Sunday morning talking head circuit for a while and perhaps found a way to secure federal funding for area water and sewer projects and perhaps work to decrease skyrocketing health care premiums that her party hoisted upon us.  Just A thought.

As for Governor Charlie Baker (RINO-Massachusetts), perhaps thinking before pandering is good advise since he has now twice announced that he would not vote for Trump who has a pretty fair shot to defeat Hillary Clinton in November.  What a shame it would be if Republican Trump were elected and Baker had already burned the bridge to The White House before inauguration day.
