As the daily media circus drones on about trumped up Trump scandals, and the deranged opposition party makes plans for impeachment, President Donald Trump is winning in very important ways that many are really not even paying attention to.

Sure, the Trump economy is booming, adversaries are being held in check, Trump-backed candidates are winning primary elections, and Trump is winning the trade war with Mexico and others. But has anyone even looked beyond the white noise to understand the impact that Trump is having on the judiciary? It's an impact that will be felt for many years to come.

While the sideshow has been unfolding, Trump, with the help of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky), have been reshaping the nation's federal court system. Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich writes for FoxNews.com:

"President Trump has been consistently nominating constitutional conservatives to the courts. This will have a profound impact on America’s future."

Trump, with McConnell's help, has seen 60 federal judges confirmed (including Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch), 33 district court judges, and 26 judges for the court of appeals. Eighty other judicial appointments are expected to be confirmed before year's end. That includes Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

For Trump, whose conservative credentials were questioned from day one, this is a huge legacy piece. It is also another case where Trump has acted to follow through on a campaign pledge.
